Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Ouarzazate

Your Moroccan adventure sets off bright and early at 8:00 AM as you leave Agadir and journey toward the cinematic town of Ouarzazate. En route, you’ll stop in Taroudant, a city steeped in history and surrounded by intact ramparts. Often referred to as “Little Marrakech,” this ancient city is famous for its traditional crafts and vibrant souks where skilled artisans display their work. After immersing yourself in Taroudant’s timeless atmosphere, you’ll continue to Ouarzazate, nestled at the intersection of the Draa and Dades valleys. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch before touring the historic Taourirt Kasbah, once a prominent residence of the Glaoui family. Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, begin your day by passing through the lush palm groves of Skoura, a scenic area dotted with traditional mud-brick kasbahs and known for cultivating fragrant damask roses used in local cosmetic products. The journey then takes you through the Rose Valley and on to Tinghir, where the Todra Gorges await. These towering red limestone cliffs, some reaching 300 meters, provide a striking setting ideal for a scenic walk.
