Day 1 of the desert tour from Casablanca: Casablanca- Chefchouen
We will pick you up from your place of residence. Then we will drive on the 1st day of the desert tour from Casablanca to beautiful Chefchouen with a drive through many towns and a few stops along the road. Overnight stay in a riad/hotel in Chefchouen.
Day 2: Chefchouen (Free Day)
This day of desert tour from Casablanca is free for you to visit and explore the best of Chefchouen (Medina, Ras El Ma, Plaza Hammam….). Overnight at Riad (breakfast is included).
Day 3: Chefchouen- Fes
Fes is our destination today after we pick you up. During the several hours drive to Fes, you will pass through several villages and the Rif Mountains, which offer beautiful landscapes. The afternoon is mainly dedicated to visiting the highlights of Fes. Overnight stay in a hotel/riad (breakfast included).
Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Erfoud - Sahara Desert ( Merzouga/ Erg Chebbi dunes)
After breakfast, the drive to the Sahara desert begins. It passes through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains with its fascinating views and landscapes. The first place we stop is the city of Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco). In the big cedar forest we stop to enjoy the place and to see the barbarian monkeys.
The day continues until we make another stop in Midelt for lunch. Then we continue to Merzouga via the breathtaking and panoramic Ziz Gorge, Erfoud, Rissani and several Berber villages. Upon arrival at our destination (Merzouga), a camel trek to the spectacular dunes awaits you. You will ride on the camels for about 1:30 minutes. The vast desert of Erg Chebbi offers wonderful views to take photos and watch the sunrise over the high sand dunes.
Dinner and overnight in a tent. Afterwards you can sit around the campfire, listen to Berber music and admire the endless stars.
Day 5: Merzouga Desert- Todra Gorge - Dades Valley.
The camel man will wake you up early enough to see the sunrise over the high sand dunes. Then you will ride on the back of a camel to Merzouga, enjoying the magnificent view of the desert. After breakfast, you will continue to the Dades Valley where you will visit the amazing Monkey Toes rock formation. Overnight stay in a hotel in Dades.
Day 6 the last day of the desert tour from Casablanca: Dades Valley - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech.
Before returning to Marrakech, we visit many places along the way. We leave Dades and drive on the panoramic road of the Thousand Kasbahs, which offers magnificent views to photograph. Then we stop to visit the beautiful Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna. A wonderful place to explore.
We then continue to Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa) and take you to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most precious and beautiful sites of the UNESCO World Heritage. It also served as a backdrop for many movies such as Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator and Prince of Persia.
After lunch, we will drive to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains and the high Tizi N’Tichka Pass. On the way we can stop to visit one of the argan oil cooperatives. In the late afternoon we arrive in Marrakech. The desert tour from Casablanca ends…
