DAY 1 of the tour from Tangier to Marrakech: TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN:

Our tour from Tangier to Marrakech starts with pick up from you.

Then we will visit the wonderful Chefchouen via several villages and the breathtaking landscapes and views of the Rif Mountains. Chefchouen is one of the most beautiful small towns you can visit in the whole world. The medina of this small town has beautiful architecture and unique colorful buildings and streets. You will have your lunch in one of the rooftop restaurants. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore the best of Chefchouen. Overnight stay in a riad.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES:

From Chefchouen, the Blue City, we will drive to Fes. The road will go through some amazing mountains and villages where you will enjoy the views and landscapes. We will stop in Volubilis. These are the famous Roman ruins in Morocco.

After taking some time to visit this site, we will continue our journey to Meknes. It is another imperial city founded in the 17th century. After a short lunch break and visiting some interesting sites and monuments such as Bab Mansour and Square Lahdim, we continue to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad in Fes.

DAY 3: DISCOVERING FES:

Today’s tour from Tangier to Marrakech is a full day of exploration to the important historical sites and monuments of Fez. This city is the first imperial city in Morocco. The trip begins with a visit to the gate of the Royal Palace and the Jewish Qaurter (Mellah).

Then we will visit Al Karaouine University (the oldest university in the world), the Tennaries (the Chouara is the largest in the world), the Attaraine Museum and the Moulay Idris Mausoleum. After lunch, we will guide you to enjoy the fascinating and panoramic view of the whole city). Overnight stay at the riad.

DAY 4: FES – IFRANE – MIDELT – SAHARA DESERT:

On today’s tour from Tangier to Marrakech, we start our adventure towards the Sahara Desert through the impressive mountains of the Middle Atlas. During our journey we stop to visit the beautiful town of Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco) and the cedar forest where the Barbary Apes live.

Then we will continue to the Merzouga desert through the wonderful Zizi valley, where you will fall in love with the fascinating views and landscapes. Upon arrival in Merzouga desert, you will start your camel trek towards the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi where you will camp, have dinner, listen to the Berber music and admire the endless stars.

DAY 5: SAHARA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY:

On today’s tour from Tangier to Marrakech, the camel man will wake you up to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. Then we ride camels and return to the village of Merzouga. Breakfast and shower at the guest house.

On the fifth day, we will continue to Todra Gorge and through the incredible mountains of Saghro. In Todra you will have the opportunity to walk through beautiful, narrow and high gorges, which are an attraction for climbers. A nice visit to Todra and lunch. Then we will drive to Dades valley. DAY 6: DADES VALLEY – OUARZAZATE – KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH:

Today’s final destination is Marrakech. Before that, we leave Dades for Ouarzazate (Hollywood of Africa). On the way, we stop to visit the beautiful Valley of Roses in the Kalaat M’Gouna region.

We will also drive along the fascinating road of the Thousand Kasbahs, where you can take great photos. The next place is the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This impressive site served as a backdrop for several Hollywood movies (Gladiator, Troy, Kingdom of Heaven…) and international TV series (Prison Break Season 5, Game of Thrones…). It has also been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.

Then we will drive over the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2260 meters high above the Atlas Mountains) to Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad in Marrakech.

DAY 7: EXPLORING MARRAKECH CITY:

We dedicate the seventh day of this tour from Tangier to Marrakech to explore and visit the best sites and monuments of Marrakech. We will take you to cultural and historical sites such as the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs and the impressive Bahia Palace. Lunch will be in the medina near the vibrant heart of Marrakech (Jmaa El Fnaa Square). Afterwards, take a walk through the souks with their various stores and hundreds of handicrafts. The afternoon is free for you to take a walk and explore more. Overnight stay at the riad.
