Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen (The Blue City)
Your journey begins in Tangier, often called the White Pigeon, where Africa meets Europe. As you leave the city behind, you’ll notice the calm, authentic Moroccan atmosphere blended with subtle European influences.
The drive toward Chefchaouen offers breathtaking views of the Rif Mountains, dotted with charming northern villages and lush landscapes.
Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you’ll be welcomed by a dreamlike scene where shades of blue surround you from every angle. Known as Morocco’s Blue City, Chefchaouen is famous for its relaxing ambiance and artistic spirit. You’ll have time to explore its historic sites, lively local markets, and artisan shops displaying handwoven textiles and traditional handicrafts.
Lunch will be enjoyed at a traditional local restaurant, followed by free time to wander and take photos. Overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen and head south through scenic green landscapes toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This remarkably preserved archaeological site offers insight into Morocco’s Roman past, with mosaics, columns, and historic structures that feel surprisingly European in style.
Continue onward to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch and take time to visit key landmarks and monuments reflecting the city’s glorious history. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Fes, where you’ll settle into your accommodation for the night.
Day 3: Guided Tour of Fes
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual heart. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll explore the ancient medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its narrow alleys, vibrant souks, and traditional workshops.
Highlights include historic madrasas, city ramparts, panoramic viewpoints, and the tombs from the Marinid era. You’ll also encounter skilled artisans crafting leather, ceramics, and metalwork using centuries-old techniques. Lunch will be served inside the medina before returning to a traditional riad for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Fes – Rabat – Casablanca
Depart Fes and travel toward Rabat, Morocco’s modern capital. In Rabat, you’ll explore carefully selected highlights such as the old medina and its souks, the Kasbah of the Oudayas, and impressive architectural landmarks that showcase refined Moroccan design.
After your visit, continue along the coast to Casablanca. Upon arrival, check into a luxurious hotel where you can relax and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 5: Casablanca – Asilah – Tangier
On the final day, discover Casablanca’s most iconic landmarks, including the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa, beautifully positioned above the Atlantic Ocean. You’ll also have time to visit parts of the old medina.
The journey then continues north to the artistic coastal town of Asilah. Here, you’ll stroll through its peaceful medina, admire white-and-blue streets, explore local art galleries, and see the historic Portuguese fortress.
Finally, you’ll be transferred to your accommodation or the airport in Tangier, marking the end of an unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
