It is mainly inhabited by people who were originally brought as slaves from Sudan, Senegal and Mali. The nomads here are very nice and friendly and would be happy to share their daily life with you.<\/p><p>The day continues with a visit to old mines near the border between Morocco and Algeria. Then we will drive back to Merzouga where you will have medfouna (also called Berber pizza) for lunch. After a short break, a camel trekking is waiting for you to experience. You will ride on camels, guided by your camel man, towards the Erg Chebbi dunes. It will take you about 1:30 minutes to reach Erg Chebbi.
