Today we will try to visit and explore some places near Merzouga desert. We will start with the village of Khaamlia, which is a very old village. The people who live here are originally from Sudan, Mali and Sudan. Long time ago they were brought as slaves from these African countries. This village is also known for its unique Gnawa music style.<\/p><p>After lunch we visit a nomadic family and continue to Rissani, where we visit the impressive fortress towers (360 ksars) and the large souks. Later we drive back to Merzouga. The camel trekking starts in Merzouga. You will ride camels and be guided by an experienced camel driver.
