Next, meet local nomadic families<\/strong> living in handmade tents, and enjoy a cup of Berber tea<\/strong> while learning about their traditional lifestyle.<\/p>

Our journey continues to the village of Khamlia<\/strong>, home to the Gnaoua people<\/strong>\u2014descendants of Sub-Saharan Africans. Enjoy their powerful spiritual music and lively drum performances. We continue to Erfoud<\/strong>, famous for its fossil industries, where you’ll visit a local workshop and see how ancient marine fossils are turned into art and decor. Then the road leads us through the lush palm groves<\/strong> of Touroug and Tinjdad toward the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges<\/strong>. These towering red rock cliffs are a favorite spot for hikers and climbers.<\/p>

After enjoying the gorge and lunch at a local restaurant, we make our way to Dades Valley<\/strong>, passing through Boumalne Dades<\/strong>. Along the route, stop to admire the unusual “Monkey Fingers” rock formations<\/strong> and take in the panoramic views of the winding valley from a hilltop lookout. Our next stop is the legendary Ait Ben Haddou<\/strong>, a beautifully preserved fortified ksar<\/strong> that has served as the setting for films like Gladiator<\/em>, The Mummy<\/em>, and Game of Thrones<\/em>. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most iconic photo spots in Morocco.<\/p>
